(Wiersbe) Lazy preachers and teachers who steal material from others instead of studying and making it their own will have much to answer for at the Judgment Seat of Christ

(Wiersbe) It comes as a shock to some church members that you cannot manage a local church the same way you run a business. There is a wisdom of this world that works for the world, but it will not work for the church, The church that imitates the world may seem to succeed in time, but it will turn to ashes in eternity. The church in Acts had none of the " secrets to success " that seem important today. Yet they turned the world upside down! Though the church must be identified with the needs of the world, it must not imitate the wisdom of the world

(Wiersbe) We must not let our personal preferences become divisive prejudices. In fact, the preacher I may enjoy the least may be the one I need the most

(Dennis  Fisher) We should be careful not to put our Christian leaders on a pedestal. Instead, let's appreciate how God is using a variety of spiritual leaders for His honor and glory. Le this be our prayer:" Lord, give us wisdom. We know it is good to follow the example of godly leaders, but help us not to think so highly of them that we worship them instead of you. Amen" Each person has his place in God's service , but only God deserves the glory

( Joe Stowell) Life is a search for a voice we can trust- a single voice that puts  the cacophony  of all other voices of contradictory input and advice into quiet perspective, a voice that settles the loudness around us and speaks peacefully, yet clearly and confidently- a voice we can follow. Jesus Christ is that voice.
