(Wiersbe) It is faith in Christ that gives us victory. We do not fear the enemies, for He has already conquered them

(J. Hudson Taylor) It is not by trying to be faithful, but in looking to the Faithful One that we win the victory

(Wiersbe) You re not running the race to please people or to get fame. You are running the race to please Jesus Christ

(Wiersbe) I am afraid that some " sharing times" do more harm than good as well-meaning people exchange their " spiritual ignorance"

(Wiersbe) We cannot be approved unless we are tested

(Wiersbe) God chose us who trust Him as His elect

(Wiersbe) True Bible separation is balanced;we flee sin, but we follow after righteousness. If we are not balanced, then we will be isolated instead of separated. It is a sad thing when true believers are isolated because of a false view of separation

(Wiersbe) A servant's purpose is not to win arguments but to win souls

(Ray Stedman) God's judgment is true and it is relentless. He is not the bit impressed by the works we do in the flesh. Only what is done in the spirit will last

(Charles Stanley) No one will quibble with God's judgment

(A. Rogers) Christianity isn' believing something, it's receiving Someone

( A. Rogers) The natural man does what comes naturally. The spiritual man does what comes supernaturally. The carnal man does what comes unnaturally. He is deformed, dependent, and divisive

( Wiersbe) G. Campbell Morgan was a wonderful British Bible teacher. He had four sons; all became ministers. Someone asked one of his grandsons if he would become a minister and he replied ' " No, I plan to work for a living "

(Wiersbe) Maturing Christians want to be enlightened and edified, not entertained

(Wiersbe) When immature Christians, without spiritual dsicernment, get into places of leadership in the church, the results will be disastrous. They often talk big and live small

( Wiersbe) A mature believer uses his gifts to build with, while an immature believer uses gifts as toys to play with or as trophies to boast about

( Wiersbe) Why compare preachers or statistics? Gos is the source of the growth; no man can take the credit

(Wiersbe) What men may think of our  ministry is not important;what God may think is of supreme inmpotance. Our reward must not be the praise of men, but the  " Well done" of the Lord of the harvest

(Wiersbe) The church does not belong to the preacher or the congregation. It is God's church. I have seen churches try to build on a famous preacher or a special method or a doctrinal emphasis they feel was important, but these ministries simply did not last.
