(Robison) Although our intent might be to stand up for character, righteousness, and virtue,if we forget to temper confrontation of wrong with a balance of forgiveness, mercy, and love, our best intentions can easily do more harm than good. Does the confrontationm result in redemption and restoration or in defamation and destruction?

(James Robison) A careful study of the Bible reveals that people with great depth of character often had very real weaknesses

(James Robison) commenting on the dangers of  experiencing " real success": When the almost indescribable sense of euphoria settles in and when the accolades, praise, and appreciation of other people are heaped on us, we are thrust into a conflict in which the subtlities and seductive  potential of the enemy defies anything we can imagine, Beware the dangers of intimacy with God being interrupted, judgment being diminished, and discernment being short-circuited

(Wiersbe) We all know cases of people who have studied themselves stupid

(Wiersbe) Natural abilities are not necessarily the same as spiritual gifts

(Robison ) I have learned to seek people out who are courageous enough to confront and challenge me. I have learned to love my enemies because they will tell me the "real" truth. While they may be trying to hurt me, they actually help me because I took their accusations to God in prayer

(Robison ) Leadership develops from the inside out

(G. Alan Bernard) The respect that leadership must have requires that one's ethics be without question. A leader not only stays above the line between right and wrong; he stays well clear of the gray areas also
