(Wiersbe)  Commenting on the phrase " make you perfect" in Heb 13:21:" This phrase is the translation of one Greek word " kataridzo"  . The doctor knew it because it means to set a broken  bone. To fisherman it meant to mend a net. To sailors it meant to outfit a ship for voyage. To soldiers it meant to equip and arm for battle

(Wiersbe) Build your life on the things of heaven that will never shake

(Our Daily Bread) God's presence with us is one of His greatest presents to us

(Riddle) What gets wetter the more it dries? --A towel

(Riddle) What grows  larger the more you take away? -- a hole

(James 4:6/ The Message) God goes against the willful proud;God gives grace to the willing humble

(James 4:10/ The Message) Get down on your knees before the Master; it's the only way you'll get on your feet

(James 4:12/ The Message) God is in charge of deciding human destiny. Who do you think you are to meddle in the destiny of others?

(James 4:14/ The Message) You don't know the first thing about tomorrow. You're nothing but  wisp of fog, catching a brief bit of sun before disappearing
