(Wiersbe) The test of our lives isn't what we think about ourselves or what others think about us,  but what God says when we stand before Him

( Wiersbe) When we go through trials, the important thing isn't that we get out of them, but what we get out of them

( Wiersbe) God does not work in spite of us or instead of us: He works in us and through us

( Wiersbe) Discouragement has probably weakened and destroyed more ministries than any other enemy of the faith

(Wiersbe) The Holy Spirit is to believers today what Jesus was to His desciples when He was with them on earth

(Wiersbe) Believers carry within themselves a power greater than anything the world can produce. What an encouragement!

(Wiersbe) No matter how uncomfortable or threatening the circumstances around us or the distress within us, our Father sill is in control and our Savior will never forsake us

We live in a parallel world of the temporal and the eternal, the material and the spiritual, the horizontal and the vertical the seen and the unseen
